So my wife came into our office (room with bookshelf and computer) to tell me something about our 4 month old. Being quick to dismiss and get on with my video game, I made a rather snide remark; at least she took it as a snide remark. I had no intention of making her angry as I don’t like drama; however, when only receiving about 2-3 hours of sleep a night (did I mention 4-month old yet?) she tends to be a bit “snippy”. I don’t blame her at all – really I don’t. During our conversation, a statement was made – “I hate that computer”. I don’t know about you but there are really very few Apple products that I can think of that anyone would hate. I knew it must be something else and I found out later the next day that indeed she doesn’t hate the iMac, but rather hates me playing video games. this didn’t come as a complete shock but it was shock enough that I told her my relationship with video games is over.
1) they did nothing for me except momentarily satisfying my desire to win thus becoming to me, a love less wild than my savior. wedding dress
2) I don’t have a problem giving up something that will make me a better person (or at least we will see if I have a problem with it)
Good stuff, Bro. Thanks for sharing!
